Safety

Anonymous messages can be kind, and they can be cruel. We build in protections, and we are honest that none of them is perfect.

What we do

  • A bot check and rate limits on sending, to slow down floods and scripts.
  • Hidden words: you can list words that send an inbox message to a review folder instead of your inbox. Hidden words also apply to text answers in your games. Report inside your inbox works for inbox messages.
  • Automatic holding of messages with many links. Held messages go to a separate Held folder in your inbox, and you can release or delete them. This is a simple check and it will miss things.
  • Reporting by anyone: every link, game and published card has a Report link, and no account is needed. Moderators can pause a link, close a game, remove a published card, remove a reported message and suspend accounts. Suspending an account also turns off its links.
  • Emergency switches that can stop inbox messages quickly, and separately stop games.
  • Technical details of sent messages are kept for 7 days for abuse investigations, and every look is logged.

If you get a harmful message

  1. You do not have to read it. Use Report on the message, or pause your inbox.
  2. Use Rotate link to stop the old link working, or Revoke link to turn it off.
  3. Add words to your hidden words list.
  4. If you feel in danger, contact your local emergency services and a trusted person. Take a screenshot first. If a moderator removes a message, you can no longer see it.

How reports are handled

Reports from your own inbox

  1. You press Report on a message. It is marked and a moderator can now read that message.
  2. A moderator reviews it. They can remove the message or dismiss the report, and they must write a note. The action is logged.
  3. For serious abuse, an admin or the founder can look at the technical details of that message, with a written reason. The IP is shown masked. We do not guess who the sender is.

Reports from anyone else (no account needed)

  1. Press Report on a link, game or published card and say what is wrong. You can add up to 500 characters. An email address is optional. We do not store your IP address and we never ask you for anyone's private messages.
  2. A moderator sees only the public details of what you reported: the prompt, the game title or the published card. They never see a private inbox.
  3. They can dismiss the report, pause the link, close the game, remove the card or, in serious cases, suspend the account. They must write a note and the action is logged. The owner is told that action was taken, without your details.
  4. Reports about children or threats to life are reviewed first. A closed report is deleted after 90 days.

We may involve the authorities where the law requires it or the risk is serious.

We aim to review reports promptly but do not promise a time. Not every report leads to action.

If you sent something you regret

Messages cannot be pulled back once sent, because we do not know who sent them. Contact us through the HELLO@nosignature.reubengbarinaa.com with the link and roughly when it was sent, and we will look.

If you are reporting as a sender or a visitor

Use the Report link at the bottom of the page. If you cannot find it, use the HELLO@nosignature.reubengbarinaa.com on the Help page and tell us the link and what happened.
